PIA flights schedule improves

KARACHI: After settlement of matters with Pakistan State Oil (PSO), the flight schedule of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has slightly improved on Monday.

According to PIA spokesperson, after the provision of fuel, the national carrier affected flight operation is improving and 45 flights have been scheduled to take off today, which include both domestic and international routes. While 29 have been cancelled.

According to the flight schedule, four flights from Karachi to Islamabad PK368, PK308, PK309, PK369 and Dammam flight number PK242 have been cancelled. Karachi to Lahore PK304, PK305, Multan PK331, Dubai PK214, Sukkur PK536 and PK537 have been cancelled.

Islamabad to Sukkur PK631 and PK632, Al-Qasim PK167 and Dubai PK233 have been cancelled.

Islamabad to Abu Dhabi flight PK161 and Jeddah PK841 are cancelled, Peshawar-Dubai PK283 and PK284, Sharjah PK257 and PK258 Abu Dhabi PK217 and PK118 are cancelled.

Flights Sialkot to Dammam PK243 Kuwait City PK240 and Sharjah PK210 have been cancelled. While Multan to Dubai flights PK221 and PK222 and Al-Qasim PK170 are included in the canceled schedule.

Six flights between Islamabad, Gilgit and Skardu are still being operated today

The airline has suffered the loss of 679 flight cancellations in the last 14 days.
