PM hosts luncheon for Tri-Nation Series teams

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday hosted a luncheon in honour of the Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe cricket teams participating in the ongoing Tri-Nation Series.
Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister praised the teams for their commitment and discipline, noting that all players were representing their countries with dedication. He urged the athletes to continue demonstrating sportsmanship and mutual respect throughout the tournament.
The Prime Minister said the series was being conducted smoothly under an effective strategy led by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. He added that the successful hosting of international cricket once again reflected Pakistan’s positive image, as well as its commitment to peace and stability.
Shehbaz Sharif said the Tri-Nation Series was providing fans with quality cricket and expressed hope that sporting ties among the three nations would further strengthen friendship and cooperation. He reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue to welcome international teams in the future.
