PM lauds Punjab CM, team for Eid cleanliness operations

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and her team for their efforts in maintaining cleanliness and providing public services during the three days of Eidul Azha.

“Well done Punjab, well done Maryam Nawaz,” the prime minister remarked, commending the Punjab CM and her team for successfully conducting the cleanliness drive.

He highlighted the 80 per cent reduction in waste disposal in the Lahore canal, attributing this improvement to the use of drones.

Prime Minister Shehbaz applauded the cleanliness teams for performing their duties in the scorching heat and urged the Punjab government to continue their tradition of public service.

He also suggested sprinkling rose water in the streets to mitigate odors.

He expressed hope that the Punjab government would not only maintain their high standards of public service but also continue to improve them.
