PM Shehbaz announces laptop and training programmes for KP students

HARIPUR: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced major initiatives to support education and skills development for students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Under the new programmes, laptops will be distributed across the province to help students access modern learning tools, while specialized training programs will provide opportunities for youth to enhance their skills, particularly in the agricultural sector.

Highlighting the importance of young people in the nation’s progress, PM Shehbaz said, “Our youth are the builders of Pakistan. By giving them the right tools and training, we are investing in the future of the country.”

During his address, he also mentioned that efforts to send talented students abroad for higher education, which began during his tenure as Punjab Chief Minister, will continue across all provinces.

These initiatives are part of a broader development plan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which includes improving educational infrastructure, promoting women’s education, and creating more opportunities for youth to succeed.

With laptops and training programs now in place, the Prime Minister hopes to empower students to compete globally while contributing to Pakistan’s growth at home.
