PM Shehbaz, Belarusian energy minister discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties

WEB DESK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday met with Belarusian Energy Minister Denis Moroz and his delegation in Islamabad, with the two sides reviewing progress on bilateral cooperation and ways to further strengthen ties.

The prime minister warmly welcomed the Belarusian energy minister and his delegation and conveyed his good wishes and warm sentiments for Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

PM Shehbaz expressed satisfaction over the negotiations held during the ninth session of the Pakistan-Belarus Joint Ministerial Commission.

The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including trade, industry, agriculture and energy.

Both sides agreed to further enhance mutual engagement and cooperation to translate collaboration in all areas into practical outcomes.

 “We will further strengthen the growing partnership between Pakistan and Belarus,” the prime minister said.

The Belarusian energy minister thanked PM Shehbaz for the warm welcome and briefed him on the progress made during the Joint Ministerial Commission.
