WEB DESK: Following the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan has dispatched 100 tons of humanitarian aid for Palestinians from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore under the supervision of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The aid consignment includes medicines, tents, blankets, and water cans, aimed at addressing the urgent needs of people affected in Gaza. Talha Burki highlighted that these relief efforts reflect Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to supporting Palestinians and its strong collaboration with welfare organizations. He specifically praised the role of charitable institutions, including Al-Khidmat Foundation, for their active participation in the relief efforts.
“Pakistan has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the Palestinian people,” Burki said, emphasising that the aid program underscores shared values, Islamic solidarity, and moral responsibility.
The latest shipment continues Pakistan’s longstanding humanitarian support to Gaza, demonstrating the country’s dedication to alleviating suffering and reinforcing ties of brotherhood with the Palestinian people.
