PM Shehbaz orders formation of committee to deal with climate change issues

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed the establishment of a committee to address matters concerning climate change.

Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, a meeting was convened to discuss issues concerning climate change, during which he received updates on the advancements in policies and projects addressing climate change.

Shahbaz Sharif stressed the critical importance of addressing climate change, noting that Pakistan is among the nations significantly impacted by its effects.

Additionally, the Prime Minister underscored that Pakistan ranks among the countries with minimal contributions to environmental degradation. He highlighted the necessity for devising a thorough and efficient action plan to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
