PM to skip Apex committee meeting to be held in Karachi today

ISLAMABAD: Acting Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq will not attend the meeting of the National Apex Committee to held in Karachi later today due to prior engagements.
The huddle will be attended by Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, federal ministers, and chief ministers of all the provinces.
Issues related to the elimination of terrorism from the country, repatriation of illegal immigrants to their homelands, achieving economic targets, investment climate, and many other important matters will be discussed at the apex committee on the National Action Plan.
The meeting participants will be given a briefing on the Sindh government’s measures in this regard.
During its previous meeting on Tuesday, it was decided to give Nov 1 deadline for illegal immigrants in the country to leave Pakistan, otherwise, all law enforcement agencies would deport them.
