A man and a woman were already present at the location. The FIR stated that the victim was given juice, after which she became semi-conscious and was tied up. She was then raped by Sheroz while the woman present filmed the assault.

The ordeal lasted for about an hour, after which the accused threatened to kill the victim and release the video if she refused to meet him again.

The victim was later admitted to Jinnah Hospital, where a medico-legal examination was carried out.

Following the incident, a social media post claimed the mainstream media had ignored the case due to the involvement of influential persons. However, DIG East Dr Furrukh Ali Lanjhar told Hum News English that the FIR was registered immediately and all the accused named in the case have since been arrested.
