Police share new developments in viral Islamabad TikToker assault case

Forced haircut tiktoker Iman

WEB DESK: Police have made significant progress in the investigation into the assault and forced haircut of TikTok creator Iman during a birthday party in the jurisdictions of Nasirabad and Loheh Bher police stations.

According to police sources, the incident escalated from a minor argument at the party. Investigations revealed that Iman allegedly mentioned another girl in conversation, accusing Nazar Khan (aka Arman Khan), who is married, of having a relationship with her. Nazar Khan’s wife was present and overheard the comment, leading to a heated confrontation. Subsequently, Nazar Khan and other attendees reportedly attacked Iman, cut her hair, and recorded the incident on video.

An FIR names four primary suspects: Nazar Khan (Arman Khan), Anees Khan (Durrani), Jaleel (Mithu), and Jabbar Khan, who remain at large. Several women allegedly involved are also missing, and one suspect is reported to have fled to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

SSP Investigation Dr Tanveer Supra has formed four special teams to apprehend the suspects. Three individuals currently in police custody are being interrogated, while authorities are retrieving data from the suspects’ mobile phones. Police raids at various locations have so far yielded limited results, though evidence suggests Anees Khan may be in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, prompting deployment of police teams there.

The incident reportedly occurred after Iman’s friend Sana and others invited her to the birthday party, drawn by her rapidly growing TikTok account. Authorities continue to search for other attendees present during the assault.
