Prime suspect’s wife in Ameer Balaj Tipu case disappears with jewellery, cash

LAHORE: The wife of Ahsan Shah, the main suspect in the Ameer Balaj Tipu murder case, has vanished from their home with jewelry and cash.

According to the police, a case has been filed against Ahsan Shah’s wife, Tayyabi Butt, as well as Gogi Butt, based on a complaint by Inspector Shakeel Butt.

The police have conducted a raid in an attempt to apprehend Ahsan Shah’s wife.

Ahsan Shah’s mother has informed the police that her daughter-in-law left the house with jewelry and cash.

Las week, Ahsan Shah, was killed by the firing of his “accomplices”.

According to sources, the CIA team was taking Ahsan Shah to Shadbagh “for a recovery when Shah’s accomplices opened fire on the CIA team.”

Shah was believed to be a close friend of Balaj and was accused of providing information to key suspects, including Teefi Butt, about Balaj’s presence at a wedding party in Chuhng. On February 19, Balaj was murdered by a hitman named Muzaffar Hussain. The assailant was subsequently killed on the spot by Balaj’s bodyguards.

Ameer Balaj’s father, Tipu Truckanwala, was also killed in a gun attack at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport in 2010.
