Private airline flight from Islamabad to Skardu narrowly escapes accident

ISLAMABAD: A private airline flight from Islamabad to Skardu narrowly avoided an accident on Thursday.

Reports indicate that shortly after departing from Islamabad, the landing gear of the aircraft failed to retract, prompting the pilot of flight PK 251 to contact the air traffic controller.

After circling safely twice within Islamabad airspace, the aircraft successfully landed without incident. Subsequently, the private airline’s flight to Skardu was cancelled.
