ISLAMABAD: Private schools in Islamabad will reopen and resume teaching activities from April 1 (tomorrow), following the end of spring holidays, the Pakistan Educational and Regulatory Authority (PEARA) has announced.
According to the official notification, all private educational institutions in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) are required to restart classes and ensure smooth implementation of academic schedules. The move comes as authorities emphasize the importance of uninterrupted learning and adherence to operational guidelines.
PEARA has instructed school administrations to take all necessary measures to facilitate students’ return and maintain classroom discipline and safety. The notification also stressed that schools must comply with all regulatory and administrative directives to guarantee proper execution of educational activities.
The announcement marks the end of the annual spring break in the capital, allowing thousands of students to resume in-person learning after the holidays. Parents and school authorities are being urged to coordinate closely to ensure a smooth reopening process.
PEARA officials confirmed that compliance with the notification will be monitored, and schools are expected to fully resume academic activities without delays.
