PSL 10: Lahore Qalandars defeat Quetta Gladiators

RAWALPINDI: In the fourth match of PSL 10, Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by a margin of 79 runs.

Chasing a target of 220, Quetta Gladiators were bowled out for 140 runs in 16.2 overs. Rilee Rossouw top-scored for Quetta with 44 runs, while Kusal Mendis made 28 and Shoaib Malik contributed 14. Akeal Hosein scored 13, Abrar Ahmed 6, and Usman Tariq added 5 runs.

Rashid Hussain claimed three wickets for Lahore, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Asif Afridi, and Sikandar Raza took two wickets each. Haris Rauf dismissed one batter.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars had set a target of 220 runs for the Gladiators, posting 219 for 6 in their allotted overs. Fakhar Zaman was the standout performer with 67 runs, while Abdullah Shafique and Daryl Mitchell both scored 37. Sam Billings struck a quickfire 50 off just 19 balls. Mohammad Naeem added 10, Sikandar Raza 6, and Shaheen Shah Afridi made 3 runs. Akeal Hosein and Abrar Ahmed took two wickets apiece for Quetta.
