PSL 10: Lahore Qalandars set 220-run target for Gladiators

RAWALPINDI: In a group match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10, Lahore Qalandars set a target of 220 runs for Quetta Gladiators, thanks to half-centuries by Fakhar Zaman and Sam Billings.
In the fourth match of the PSL, being played in Rawalpindi, Quetta Gladiators won the toss and invited Lahore Qalandars to bat first.
Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Naeem opened the innings for Qalandars. Naeem was bowled by Abrar Ahmed after scoring 10 runs, falling as the first wicket at 17 runs.
Fakhar Zaman powered the innings with 67 runs off 39 balls, hitting 7 fours and 3 sixes. Abdullah Shafique and Daryl Mitchell contributed 37 runs each before being dismissed.
Sam Billings batted well in the death overs and completed his half-century without getting out.
Lahore Qalandars scored 219 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

The Gladiators’ bowlers failed to restrict Qalandars to a low total, although their spinners bowled well. Akeal Hosein and Abrar Ahmed picked up two wickets each.
