PSL 11 ticket frenzy hits Pakistan, fans rush online as sales go live


PSL 11 kicks off: Top-notch cricket action from March 26 to May 3

LAHORE: The cricket fever in Pakistan has reached a boiling point as HBL PSL 11 ticket sales officially kicked off online today! Fans across the country were quick to swarm the ticketing website, causing servers to buckle under unprecedented traffic.

Initially, the site faced technical glitches and bookings were impossible, leaving thousands of die-hard supporters eagerly waiting. But the ticketing company swiftly restored the platform, and the online frenzy resumed, with fans grabbing tickets at lightning speed.

The excitement is palpable, with general tickets starting at just Rs 250 and VIP enclosures available for Rs 3000. PSL officials have capped purchases at eight tickets per CNIC to give more fans a chance to experience the action live.

For the first time in PSL history, eight teams will battle it out in 44 electrifying matches, spanning stadiums in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, and Peshawar. Faisalabad and Peshawar are hosting PSL matches for the first time, adding even more thrill for regional fans.

Ticket pricing has been kept fan-friendly to pack the stands:

  • General Tickets: Lahore & Karachi Rs 250, Faisalabad Rs 300, Multan & Rawalpindi Rs 400
  • VIP Family Zone: Rs 2000
  • Corporate Boxes: Available in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi

Limited e-tickets are up for grabs in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, while physical tickets will be available at TCS Express Centers from March 24.

Salman Naseer, a PSL spokesperson, called today’s launch “the beginning of a new era”, noting that the goal is to get more fans into stadiums and make PSL 11 an unforgettable cricket festival.

Fans are already gearing up for what promises to be an action-packed season of six-city cricket mania… the countdown to PSL 11 has officially begun!
