PSL 11th edition to begin from March 26, final clash expected in Lahore: Sources

LAHORE: The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is likely to begin on March 26, while the final is expected to be played in Lahore on May 3, sources said.

According to sources, the tournament’s title match will be held at Gaddafi Stadium, one of the country’s premier cricket venues.

Sources further said that the qualifier match is expected to take place on April 28 in Rawalpindi, while two eliminator matches are likely to be held on April 29 and 30 in Lahore.

The opening match of PSL 11 is expected to be played between Hyderabad Kings Men and Lahore Qalandars on March 26, sources added.

According to insiders, the tournament is likely to be held in two phases. In the first phase, each team will play seven matches, while in the second phase, all teams are expected to play three matches each.

The Pakistan Cricket Board is expected to announce the final schedule for PSL Season 11 soon, sources said, adding that the tentative schedule has already been shared with the participating franchises.
