PTI chief gets interim bail in three cases

ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Wednesday extended interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan in three cases pertaining to violence outside the Federal Judicial Complex and Islamabad High Court.

The PTI chairman’s counsel argued that former prime minister had been wrongly implicated in the case.

Ordering a thorough investigation, the judge remarked Islamabad police inspector general would be summoned in case of any lapse.

Later, ATC judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain granted the former prime minister interim bail till July 26.
