PTI finalises Sheikh Waqas Akram’s name for PAC chairman slot

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalised Sheikh Waqas Akram’s name for nomination for the post of National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman.

PTI leader Rauf Hassan while talking to media said that PTI founder Imran Khan has approved Waqas Akram’s name for the position.

PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat initially claimed his nomination for the PAC chairman position. However, the PTI political committee later chose to replace him with Sheikh Waqas Akram, a decision that Marwat opposed.

Earlier today, Marwat lashing out against fellow party leaders, said that even today he was unable to meet the party founder Imran Khan.
