PTI Leader Chaudhry Naeem Ibrahim arrested in Multan

MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA), Chaudhry Naeem Ibrahim, was apprehended at Multan Airport upon his arrival from Sharjah.

The arrest follows Ibrahim’s recent filing of his nomination papers for both National and Provincial Assembly constituencies in anticipation of the upcoming general elections.

PTI challenges ECP’s decision, files petition in PHC

According to police officials, the case against which the PTI leader has been arrested pertained to illegal occupation of a real-estate plot.

It has also been reported that the former MPA was on protective bail till December.
