PTI nominates Amir Dogar for National Assembly speaker slot

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday nominated Malik Aamir Dogar as the National Assembly speaker.

PTI has put forward Amir Dogar as their choice for the position of Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament representing NA-149, while they’ve nominated Junaid Khan from Malakand for the role of Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.

“God willing, the PTI will form governments […] the PTI will emerge victorious,” said  PTI leader Omar Ayub Khan outside Adiala Jail.

He also declared plans for joint protests on March 2, alongside other political parties, to denounce the alleged election rigging.
