ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) has served show cause notice to party leader Sher Afzal Marwat over his recent statement against Barrister Ali Gohar.
Sher Afzal Marwat had claimed that Barrister Gohar Ali Khan had been “removed” as the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) due to “unsatisfactory” performance.
This statement follows Barrister Gohar’s announcement that the PTI’s next chairman nominee would be Barrister Ali Zafar, ahead of the party’s internal elections.

PTI General Secretary Omar Ayub has taken a firm stance against Sher Afzal Marwat’s recent statement, and perceived it as a breach of party protocol.
Marwat’s remarks targeting Barrister Gohar have raised concerns within the party ranks, prompting Ayub to issue a show-cause notice.
In a bid to address the issue promptly, Marwat has been given a window of two days to submit an unconditional apology letter.
However, the show cause notice also warns that if Marwat fails to provide a satisfactory explanation, the party will be compelled to take further action as per its established policy.
