PTI’s protest venue moved from Multan to Bahawalpur

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Senator Aon Abbas announced on Monday that the party has changed the public protest scheduled for October 2 from Multan to Bahawalpur owing to the arrival of the English Cricket Team in Multan on the same day.

He said that PTI founder Imran Khan has welcomed the English cricket team, stating the visit of international teams to Pakistan was of a great honour for the country.

The PTI had earlier called for peaceful protests in Faisalabad, Multan and Mianwali.
