Punjab announces exam and result schedule for Classes 9 to 12

LAHORE: The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has approved and issued the schedule for annual and supplementary examinations, along with tentative result dates, for Classes 9, 10, 11 and 12 across Punjab.

According to the approved timetable, the annual examinations for Classes 9 and 10 will begin on March 27. The result for Class 10 (Part II) is expected to be announced on August 6, while the Class 9 (Part I) result is likely to be declared on September 2.

The committee further stated that supplementary examinations for Classes 9 and 10 will commence on October 6.

For intermediate students, the annual examinations for Classes 11 and 12 are scheduled to start on May 20. The Class 12 result is expected on September 23, while the Class 11 result is likely to be announced on October 22.

In addition, intermediate supplementary examinations will begin on November 3, 2026, with their results expected on January 12, 2027, according to the committee.

Officials said the early release of the schedule is aimed at helping students, parents and educational institutions plan academic activities in advance. The timelines remain subject to final confirmation by individual boards, but the committee indicated that all provincial boards will follow the same framework to ensure uniformity across Punjab.
