According to an official spokesperson, these coordinated actions led to the arrest of 24 suspected terrorists and an additional 501 individuals under suspicion during combing efforts.

The IBOs were executed across multiple cities, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sahiwal, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Toba Tek Singh, Sargodha, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, and Attock. Authorities highlighted a key arrest in Lahore, where a “dangerous” terrorist affiliated with the Khawarij ideology was apprehended.

A significant cache of materials was seized during the operations, including explosive substances, four improvised explosive devices (IEDs), 24 detonators, safety fuse wire, pamphlets, cash, and prima facie cards. Officials stated that the suspects were allegedly planning to carry out attacks at various locations to spread fear and panic among the public.

As part of the broader security sweep, the CTD also questioned over 228,000 individuals during combing operations. The department reiterated its commitment to its “Safe Punjab” mission, affirming that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to ensure public safety and maintain stability across the province.
