Punjab information minister wishes Eid to security personnel, media

LAHORE: In a heartfelt message, Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has extended warm Eid greetings to the dedicated men of the security agencies who continue to serve diligently during the festive period.
Bukhari commended the unwavering commitment of officials from the Pakistan Army, Police, and other security agencies, as well as the efforts of municipal corporation to ensure cleanliness. She said, “Municipal corporation and sentry staff are doing their duty to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of Punjab”.

She also appreciated the efforts of the media personnel staying steadfast to keep the nation informed. “Media representatives are also conveying authentic and fact-based information to the people instead of celebrating Eid with their families,” she said.
While the nation rejoices and celebrates Eid with loved ones, Bukhari acknowledged the sacrifices of those who cannot be with their families due to their duty commitments. She expressed gratitude to Pakistan Army soldiers, police personnel, and media representatives who prioritise their responsibilities over personal celebrations.
“Thanks to the sacrifices of Pakistan Army and Police personnel, the land of Pakistan is becoming a cradle of peace”, Bukhari added.
Highlighting the pivotal role of security personnel in maintaining peace across the country, Bukhari lauded their sacrifices, noting that their efforts contribute to Pakistan’s status as a beacon of peace.

In a poignant tribute, Bukhari also recognised the sacrifices made by the families of those serving on the frontlines, emphasising that every mother, sister, and daughter whose loved ones are away on duty deserve admiration and respect.
