Punjab opens Honhaar scholarship programme registration

LAHORE: The Government of Punjab has opened registration of the Honhaar Scholarship Program. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif made the announcement through her X, formerly Twitter, account on Sunday.

For this purpose Honhaar portal has also been launched for the next cycle of the scholarship programme. CM Maryam called on the students of Punjab to apply with confidence and pursue their studies with passion.

According to the chief minister, the programme has already benefitted 80,000 students since its inception last year, providing opportunities in 67 disciplines. Currently, 50,000 students are receiving scholarships, while an additional 30,000 will soon join the list.

“Your dreams are the heartbeat of Punjab’s future,” she said, assuring students that their success would always be her greatest pride.
