Punjab revises school teaching interns recruitment schedule again

ISLAMABAD: The recruitment schedule for School Teaching Interns (STIs) in Punjab has been revised once again.

The application deadline has been extended for the second time, with 26 Nov 2025 set as the new last date for submitting online applications, according to the latest update.

The merit lists will be displayed on school notice boards on 1 Dec 2025, while Tehsil-level committees will address complaints from 2 to 3 Dec 2025.

Interviews of shortlisted candidates are scheduled for 4 Dec 2025, and the final merit list will be uploaded on the portal and displayed at schools at 10AM on 5 Dec 2025.

Earlier, the Punjab government also officially announced winter holidays for schools and other educational institutions across the province.

According to a notification issued by the Provincial Education Department, the winter break will start on December 23, 2025 and continue until January 11, 2026.

According to the notification, all schools will reopen on January 13, 2026, marking the beginning of the new academic session.
