LAHORE: All private and public schools in Punjab will reopen on Monday (January 13) after more than three weeks of winter break, with no further extensions to the holidays, as per the announcement by the provincial government.
The Secretary of School Education, denying reports of an extension in vacation, said the winter holidays will end on the scheduled date of January 13 and classes will proceed as planned.
All public and private schools across the Punjab province will reopen on Monday, stated Khalid Nazir Wattoo.
The Punjab Department of Special Education has also announced revised school timings as institutions prepare to reopen on January 13 after the winter break.

Special education schools will operate from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Thursday and Saturday, while on Fridays, students will be dismissed at 12:00 PM.
These institutions, which have been closed since December 20, will resume with adjusted hours to accommodate the ongoing cold wave in the region.
To help students cope with the chilly temperatures, the department is relaxing the uniform policy, allowing them to wear warmer clothes.
This change will remain in effect from January 13 to February 15.
