Punjab’s Anti-Corruption Establishment launches 24/7 complaint hotline

LAHORE: To combat corruption and irregularities, the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) in Punjab has unveiled a dedicated hotline for citizens to report grievances and concerns, spokesperson for the authority said on Wednesday.

This hotline will enable citizens to file complaints related to corruption or irregularities at any time of the day or night. The spokesperson highlighted that the hotline will remain operational around the clock, providing an accessible avenue for citizens to voice their concerns.

To maintain a high level of oversight and efficiency, the Director-General of the Anti-Corruption Establishment will personally monitor each complaint received through the hotline. This will be done to expedite investigations and ensure a thorough examination of reported incidents.

The spokesperson further revealed that the contact information for the hotline has been prominently displayed outside various ACE offices to promote awareness and encourage its use.

In an effort to protect the identities of individuals reporting complaints against corruption, the spokesperson assured the public that their names would be held in strict confidence. This anonymity provision seeks to encourage individuals to come forward without fear of reprisal, fostering a safer environment for whistleblowers.
