Acknowledging the challenges faced during the piling phase, the Chief Minister stated that despite encountering technical delays, efforts were underway to expedite the construction of the Ravi Bridge. Notably, date palms were discovered buried during the piling process, contributing to the setback.
Addressing the situation, he highlighted the government’s commitment to considering both technical intricacies and ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in completing the Ravi Bridge project promptly.
The Chief Minister said that the successful completion of all three bridges—Ravi Bridge, Shahdara Bridge, and Imamia Colony Bridge—will significantly transform the local landscape.
To enhance the overall aesthetics of the region, he announced plans for the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) to beautify Shahdara and Imamia Colony, drawing inspiration from the well-developed areas of Model Town and Gulberg.
