Rawal Dam spillways to open as water levels rise

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration announced that the spillways of Rawal Dam will be opened on Friday 6am as a precautionary measure due to rising water levels.

The water level in the dam has reached 1,752 feet, prompting authorities to take action to prevent potential flooding.

The district administration has issued precautionary measures for residents. They advise citizens to stay away from streams and rivulets.
