WEB DESK: Rawalpindi Police said on Wednesday that they have arrested three more prisoners who had earlier escaped from a prison van in the city.
With these latest arrests, the number of recaptured suspects has risen to seven, officials said.
Earlier, police had confirmed that three prisoners were taken back into custody soon after the incident.
According to details, 14 under-trial prisoners escaped on Monday after allegedly throwing chilli powder at police personnel near Sihala. The inmates were being shifted back to Adiala Jail after a routine court appearance in Kahuta when the incident occurred.
