Repeat of May 9 is being planned: Mohsin Naqvi

Lahore: Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has issued a stern warning against any attempts to replicate the events of May 9, emphasizing that such actions will be met with severe consequences

Talking to reporters, Mohsin Naqvi said that political parties had the right to protest and that no party should be stopped from protesting but we will not allow anyone to take the law in their own hands.

He further claimed that according to intelligence agencies reports,

Mohsin Naqvi said incidents like the May 9 events are being planned in the past couple of days, adding that such incidents will be dealt with double the action. “We will not allow incidents like May 9 to happen again,” Naqvi stressed. 

He then cautioned people against resorting to such incidents and not to allow anyone to convince them for bending the law
