The reshuffle in the Punjab police was likely undertaken to raise the efficiency of law enforcement operations throughout the province. Such restructuring within law enforcement agencies is common and is done to ensure that officers are strategically placed in roles where their skills and expertise can best serve the department.
These changes may also have been made as a deliberate strategy to address particular challenges or areas requiring heightened attention, such as improving traffic management or bettering investigative capacities in specific regions.
