Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home hit by gunfire in shocking security scare

Rihanna’s Beverly Hills-area mansion was targeted in a shooting on Sunday after a woman allegedly fired multiple rounds toward the property while the singer was inside, police said.

Authorities responded to reports of gunfire at around 1:21 p.m. in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighbourhood, where officers later arrested a 30-year-old female suspect.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspect fired several shots from inside a vehicle parked across the street from the residence.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

A law enforcement source told local media that at least one bullet penetrated a wall of the mansion during the shooting.

Police radio dispatch indicated that approximately 10 shots were fired toward the property from a vehicle described as a white Tesla.

After the gunfire, the vehicle fled south on Coldwater Canyon Drive.

Officers broadcast details over police radio describing the suspect as having braided hair and wearing a cream-coloured blouse.

Police later located the vehicle in a shopping centre parking lot in Sherman Oaks, where officers arrested the suspect roughly 30 minutes after the emergency call was made.

It remains unclear what prompted the shooting or whether the suspect had any connection to the singer.

Rihanna reportedly lives at the colonial-style mansion with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky.

The couple share three young children together.

It was not immediately clear whether any other family members were inside the home at the time of the shooting.

The incident marks the latest security scare involving the singer’s properties.

In 2018, a man broke into Rihanna’s Hollywood Hills home and remained inside for roughly 12 hours before being discovered by the singer’s assistant.

Authorities said the intruder, later identified as Eduardo Leon, had entered the house by hopping a fence. Rihanna was not home at the time.

Leon later pleaded no contest to stalking charges.
