Robert Kenyon confirmed as Reform’s official candidate to compete in by-election ahead

MANCHESTER: The Reform UK has officially confirmed Robert Kenyon who is a self-employed to compete in the upcoming by-election for the parliamentary constituency of Makerfield.

The by-election comes after Simons stepped down as MP to allow Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham an opportunity to contest the seat.

A by-election is expected to be held in June 2026 to cover the seat for the region.

Three other official candidates who will stand in the Makerfield by-election are also announced.
