WEB DESK: Rockstar Games released a new update for its popular multiplayer title, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online, bringing fresh community content and improved creator tools to players.
The update introduces two rotating playlists – the Community Race Series launching Thursday and the upcoming Community Combat Series – as part of Rockstar’s ongoing effort to spotlight user-generated content and reward creativity.

The Community Race Series will feature fan-made race tracks in a dedicated playlist. The playlist groups multiply races together, allowing players to progress seamlessly from one-high speed challenge to another without interruption.
Rockstar said the playlist will refresh weekly, introducing new content periodically to maintain excitement and engagement among the player base.
Following this, Rockstar plans to roll out the Community Combat Series, which will spotlight user-created modes including Deathmatches, King of the Hill, and Survival challenges.
Similar to the race series, the combat playlist will rotate weekly to highlight fresh content crafted by the community.
The update also improves the tools available to creators, making it easier for players to design and share original content.
Rockstar will reward selected creators whose work is featured is these playlists with exclusive in-game items, including a unique Rockstar Community Series Varsity Jacket.
The jacket serves as a digital badge of recognition for creators who contribute standout content.
Rockstar also issued guidance for aspiring creators looking to get their work showcased. The company advises focusing on originality, avoiding direct copies of existing jobs, and refraining from referencing outside media. Creators are encouraged to create gameplay that remains quick and engaging, making full use of the available creator tools, and limit vehicle entries to one per type in races to ensure variety and balance.

In addition to the playlists, Rockstar released a free vehicle for GTA Online players: the Declasse Drift Walton L35. The car will be available free of charge until August 28.
To access it, players must join the LS Car Meet, which has a one-time membership cost of $50,000 in-game currency. The LS Car Meet offers exclusive vehicle deals, a private test track, a fully equipped mod shop, and new races and time trials, providing a dedicating space for car enthusiasts to socialise and compete.
