Ronaldo says he is approaching end of career, eyes Saudi Pro League title

WEB DESK: Portuguese and and Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo said his playing career is approaching its end, urging fans to enjoy each match.

“I am near the end of my career. It is a reality,” Ronaldo said, adding that he aims to continue enjoying football on a game-by-game basis.

Talking to the Brazilian media, the 40-year-old forward said he was not playing only for the current generation but also for past and future ones.

“I am not just playing for this generation, but also for the previous and upcoming generations,” he said.

Ronaldo said he wanted his career to remain memorable and successful, adding that winning titles remained his main focus.

“The most important thing is winning, and we really want to win the Saudi Pro League,” he said.

Ronaldo, who currently plays in Saudi Arabia, said he continues to take pleasure in each match as he nears the final phase of his professional career.
