Royals collapse as Hinge’s fiery debut powers Sunrisers win

NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad crushed Rajasthan Royals by 57 runs after a dream debut from pacer Praful Hinge on Monday.

Chasing 217, the Royals had a terrible start as Hinge took three wickets in the very first over. He dismissed Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for a golden duck, then got Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan-dre Pretorius in quick succession.

Hinge struck again later to remove captain Riyan Parag and finished with 4-34, putting the Royals under constant pressure.

Rajasthan never recovered from the early collapse and were bowled out for 159. Sunrisers also got strong support from debutant Sakib Hussain, who took 4-24, as they secured an important win and moved up the points table.
