Rs 79,000 deposited for PTI Chairman’s desire of Desi Chicken

PTI chairman

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has reportedly declined to consume broiler chicken and has formally requested that desi (locally-raised) chicken be incorporated into his dietary menu during his confinement at Attock Jail.

Sources have disclosed that a total of 79,000 rupees has been deposited into the bank account of the PTI chief for this specific purpose. These funds were provided by his legal representatives to ensure that his culinary preferences are met while serving his sentence.

It has come to light that the penitentiary authorities recently finalized a meal plan in consultation with Chairman PTI, outlining his daily food requirements. According to this menu, he is to receive a daily breakfast consisting of two eggs, bread, yogurt, and be provided with bread for lunch and dinner, accompanied by a variety of pulses and vegetables.

Insiders have revealed that Chairman PTI has explicitly requested desi chicken to be made available for his meals on days of his choosing.

The standard prison menu ordinarily includes chicken as part of the meals served four days a week. However, the PTI Chairman has expressed his aversion to broiler chicken. Consequently, in the past 15 days, he has been supplied with desi chicken on two separate occasions, incurring a cost exceeding 8,000 rupees, which has been debited from his account.
