Rs2mln relief cheques distributed among coal mine victims’ families in Shangla

WEB DESK: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has distributed relief cheques among the families of miners who lost their lives in a coal mine accident in Shangla.

The families of 34 deceased miners were provided relief cheques worth Rs2 million each, as part of the federal government’s support for the affected families.

An NDMA team distributed the cheques among the heirs of the deceased miners in Shangla.

The federal government also expressed solidarity with the affected families and reiterated its commitment to providing them with all possible assistance during the difficult time.
