Is Bilawal Bhutto getting engaged?

ISLAMABAD: Speculation surrounding the engagement of Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has once again surfaced, according to recent news reports.

Sources indicate that the Zardari family has reached a decision on a potential match for Bilawal, opting, however, to keep the identity of the chosen bride under wraps for now.

Asif Ali Zardari, it is learned, is eager to see his son Bilawal enter matrimony at the earliest opportunity. Family insiders reveal that the prospective bride, meticulously selected with the input of aunts and Bilawal’s sisters, embodies grace and substance, aligning seamlessly with the revered Bhutto legacy.

Amidst the fervor generated by news of Bilawal’s engagement, the media landscape is abuzz to extract details. The Bhutto-Zardari clan, however, remains tight-lipped, adept at keeping their cards close to their chest.

It is worth noting that, in response to persistent queries from the media regarding Bilawal’s marriage plans, the Chairman had previously mentioned that the responsibility of selecting his bride would rest with his sisters.

Earlier last week,  Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had left for Dubai shortly after his father and former president Asif Ali Zardari publicly undermined his authority giving rise to sepeculations of differences between the father and son.

Zardari said Bilawal was still “under training” and “a new plant” who thought his father did not know anything.

However, the Bhutto family quashed rumors of a supposed rift between PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his son, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.

Amidst growing speculation, Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, daughter of Asif Ali Zardari, took to social media to reassure the public that the family remains united.
