AHMEDABAD: A strong bowling line of South Africa secured a 76-run win over India, after David Miller (63 runs) powered their team to a 187-run target in the 3rd Super Eight clash of the ICC Men’s 2026 T20 World Cup tonight. South Africa’s team ensured a strong defence that enabled them to win SA VS IND clash.
Men in Blue were seen being all destroyed in 19 overs game, as Proteas attack bowler Jansen brought them under an invincible pressure, securing Miller’s massive 63.
While defending the team’s seven-wicket 187 runs, Jansen claimed four key wickets that also included Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma and Dube, leaving the team in the worst-ever momentum during the SV IND live clash tonight.

Hardik Pandya, who came in the middle overs, was also being hunted down by Keshav Maharaj, which left the Indian team in quite a difficult time. Dube, however, was able to stay and score 42 off 37 balls, but his innings was of no use as he was the only middle-order all-rounder while chasing the total with the lower order. The team’s top batter, Ishan Kisha, was hunted down for a duck while Abhishek was allowed to score only 15 off 12 balls. Following a massive blow to the team, the team’s Skipper Suryakumar Yadav, also came under pressure after fearing an injury in the right side of the lower body, managing only 18 off 22. Tilak Varma jerked the chase for a digit before being crushed.

Following the loss of all the batting line, the Indian team were gathered on 111 in 18.5 overs, which will now affect their Net Run Rate in the given ICC Super Eight teams’ Point Table.

Earlier, David Miller’s 63 massive produced a commanding late assault to steer South Africa to a competitive 187-7 in their T20 World Cup clash against India, rescuing the innings after early setbacks and shifting momentum firmly back toward the Proteas.
After being asked to bat first, South Africa found themselves under pressure as India struck at regular intervals in the powerplay.
Aiden Markram and Quinton de Kock fell cheaply, leaving the middle order with the task of rebuilding against a disciplined Indian bowling attack.
Ryan Rickelton attempted to stabilise the innings with a brisk cameo, but it was Tristan Stubbs and Heinrich Klaasen who briefly steadied the ship with a counterattacking partnership.

Just as South Africa looked set to accelerate, India clawed back with timely breakthroughs through Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah, keeping the scoring in check during the middle overs.
Miller came in the SA VS IND LIVE clash, anchoring the back end of the innings with a calculated yet explosive knock of 63. The left-hand batter absorbed pressure early in his stay before unleashing a flurry of boundaries and towering sixes in the death overs, particularly targeting the shorter boundaries and capitalising on anything in his arc.

His late surge in the SA VS IND LIVE clash ensured crucial runs in the final three overs, pushing the total to 187-7, a score that looked unlikely at the halfway mark of the innings.
India’s bowlers shared the wickets, with Bumrah maintaining his reputation for control at the death, while Arshdeep provided key breakthroughs. However, they struggled to contain Miller in the closing stages as he shifted gears expertly.
