ISLAMABAD: In a defiant response to the prolonged delay in salary disbursement, professors and staff members at the Federal Urdu University Islamabad Campus took to the streets on Thursday, staging a sit-in protest.

The frustration peaked as the end of the month arrived without the anticipated remuneration, leading the academic faculty to boycott classes and organize a demonstrative gathering outside the university premises.
