Salman Khan backs students protesting India’s education system after exam paper leak

WEB DESK: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has extended support to students protesting against concerns over India’s education system and exam paper leaks, praising their peaceful movement and calling for reforms to strengthen the country’s academic framework.

Reacting to the protests, Salman Khan said he felt saddened that a peaceful movement had taken a violent turn, while expressing solidarity with affected students and their families.

“Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, and their parents supported them,” Salman said.

The actor appreciated the students for raising their voices and said their protest reflected their commitment towards education and building a better future.

“I truly appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity, and keenness to study hard and make their future and a greater, educated India,” he added.

Salman urged that the issue should remain focused on students and the education system rather than becoming a political matter.

“This issue is between the students and the educational system; it should not be hijacked politically. The credit should only go to the students of our country,” he said.

The actor also expressed hope that the government would support students and work towards creating a stronger education system.

“It’s a win-win situation. Hoping and praying for a positive decision,” Salman added.

Calling education the future of India, Salman said learning should become a growing trend and aspiration, with the country eventually emerging as a global education hub where students from around the world come to study.
