ISLAMABAD: Former Punjab minister, Syed Samsam Bukhari, has declared his decision to sever ties with Pakistan Tehrik-e Insaf (PTI).

Addressing the media, he expressed strong disapproval of the unrest on May 9, asserting a deep-rooted connection to the nation and its institutions.

“I unequivocally denounce all forms of violent acts,” he affirmed.

Bukhari revealed his intention to align himself with the Istikham Pakistan Party (IPP) following a meeting with Jahangir Tareen.

An official statement regarding this development is anticipated imminently.
