Saudi FM Faisal bin Farhan meets army chief Asim Munir

ISLAMABAD: A meeting between Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir and the Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud took place, focusing on matters of mutual interest and cooperation to promote bilateral ties.

“Discussions centered on mutual interests and policies to further bolster bilateral cooperation across various sectors. The esteemed visitor underscored the enduring and strategic nature of the relationship between the two nations, emphasizing exploring multiple avenues for continued reinforcement of bilateral ties,” a press statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), read.

The importance of strategic relations between both countries was emphasized by the Saudi Foreign Minister. He also stressed on expanding cooperation in various sectors.

General Asim Munir highlighted the exemplary relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He praised the spirit of brotherhood among the people of both countries.

General Asim Munir assured the Saudi delegation of Pakistan’s commitment to extending all possible cooperation. He expressed the Pakistani people’s belief and affection for their Saudi brothers.
