LAHORE: Pakistan’s bowlers delivered a devastating opening spell in the second T20 International, sending four South African batters back to the pavilion for just 23 runs.
After winning the toss, Pakistan opted to field first against South Africa — a decision that paid off in the opening overs.
Fast bowler Salman Mirza starred with the ball, conceding only 3 runs and taking 3 wickets in his 3 overs, while Naseem Shah claimed one scalp.
At the toss, captain Salman Ali Agha said that Shaheen Shah Afridi had been rested for the match, with Salman Mirza included in the playing XI in his place.
