Security forces kill 41 terrorists in Balochistan operations: ISPR


WEB DESK: Pakistan’s security forces carried out successful counter-terrorism operations in Harnai and Panjgur on January 29, killing 41 terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Thursday.

According to the ISPR, the operations were based on credible intelligence, targeting terrorists’ hideouts which were subsequently destroyed. Of those killed, 30 were in Harnai and 11 in Panjgur.

The operations also led to the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from India-backed terrorists, as well as a sum of money looted from a bank in Panjgur.

President commends security forces

President Asif Ali Zardari praised the successful operations, saying they reflected the state’s unwavering resolve against terrorism. “Effective action against terrorists demonstrates the government’s commitment to national security,” he said.

He added that counter-terrorism efforts would continue until peace and stability are fully restored across Pakistan.

The ISPR confirmed that the operations were carried out on January 29, reflecting the ongoing determination of security forces to eliminate terrorism from Balochistan.
